This is a fun, fast pace and addictive word game for Windows. MICA jokingly describes WordZap Deluxe as “The Addictionary Game”.

The goal in WordZap Deluxe is a pretty simple one. You are presented with a bunch of letters; you must glance over them and see what words they make up. So if you have 16 letters, you need only select the ones that make up words. When you click the letters on the left, they will be placed in a tray to the right – you must make words in this tray.

Who do you compete against? You can play against the computer, or you can compete against another real player that you challenged over the internet or over your local network. There’s a built-in chat feature that allows you to talk to the other player.

There are various game modes in WordZap Deluxe. The EasyZap mode is meant for the novices; you have to make 3 to 6 letter words, using any letter you want. The LongZap mode is meant for the advanced players; it’s just like EasyZap, just that you have to make 4 to 6 letter words. WordZap mode is meant for the pros; you can start a word with any letter but after that you can only use letters next to the ones you have already taken.
